Too good not to share? Host an Investment Party!
Gather a group for a friendly evening introduction to Oikocredit and the world of microfinance. Investment Parties are usually held in a private home with anywhere from 8 to 30 people. They can be simple or extravagant, and may involve a video, discussion, or presentation by yourself or by one of our speakers. Most investors learn about Oikocredit by word of mouth, so hosting an event makes a big impact.
Plus, hosting is fun! Our Investment Party Toolkit is super organized so you don’t have to be. The Toolkit contains everything you need in the order in which you would use it – from the basics of Oikocredit, to email invitation templates and colorful flyers, to materials to hand out at the event. If you choose to present the basics yourself, an easy way to do so is by using our Investment Event Slideshow and script. The 18-slide presentation explains microfinance in general, Oikocredit’s work in particular, and covers the basics of investment. It can take anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes to present, depending on the desires of the presenter.
